Why Erin?

Experience and eagerness to serve

Erin is a dedicated public servant, community volunteer, and proud mother of three young daughters. As a current member of the Board of Zoning Appeals, she brings a thoughtful, informed approach to decisions that impact our city’s growth and economic development. Her hands-on understanding of zoning policy is a valuable asset in strengthening our local economy and expanding the tax base.

Deeply invested in education and family life, Erin serves as Vice President of the Frank Elementary Parents’ Club, supporting staff and students while organizing community events like the Monster Mash Dance. She has also represented families on the Perrysburg Preschool PBIS committee, working to strengthen communication between parents and educators.

At home, Erin manages a single-income household—an experience that has shaped her strong belief in saving wisely and spending responsibly. She will bring that same fiscally responsible mindset to city council.

A former television news producer at WTOL 11, Erin has long been passionate about local government. Her professional experience has given her unique insight into how municipalities function and how effective leadership can make a real difference.

Erin’s voice represents a demographic not currently reflected on city council: stay-at-home parents of young children in Perrysburg schools. She’s ready to bring new ideas, a collaborative spirit, and a deep commitment to our community’s future.

Love for our community

Erin may not have grown up here in Perrysburg, but it is truly home for her family. She and her husband chose to raise their daughters here, and are extremely invested in our community’s success. That success comes from working together to make decisions that will support strategic growth, while still preserving the small town charm we all know and love.

A positive attitude

Erin is a naturally positive person, who approaches life with a smile. In a time where it is so easy to be angry at one another, Erin believes in focusing on helping others.

Listening to all

Everyone deserves to be seen, heard, and valued. Perrysburg is full of caring, engaged residents, and Erin believes listening to their needs is essential to good leadership. A self-described “yapper,” Erin loves meeting new people and building connections—traits that make her a natural public servant. She’s someone who genuinely wants to hear your story, understand your concerns, and work together toward solutions that benefit the whole community.
